We provide 4 types of aerial photography. From our airplane, we can shoot obliques and planimetrics; from the drone we can shoot low-altitude still and video photography.
In all cases there are 2 charges; that of the photography and that for transportation, which are variable based on the distance needed to fly or drive to your site.
For airplanes, our aircraft/crew costs are in the $200/flight hour range, calculated to the nearest tenth of an hour. Based on fuel prices, the actual hourly rate may be higher or lower.
Transportation to a drone site is generally done by automobile at a $. 75/mile rate, plus tolls and parking.
Be it, airplane or drone, our Project Estimator will attempt to be as accurate and honest as possible. Our proposal will only be as accurate as the information you supply us, so any changes to the scope of the work may cause a change in your cost charges. Any maps, diagrams or Google Earth photos outlining the exact location of your sites are critical to a successful photo mission. If we are not given correct information (which is rare, but it does happen) we may have to charge additonal for subsequent flights.
Cancellation policy: when you contract with Aerial Images Photography: we can't control the weather and you can't always control business decisions, so postponing or deleting a flight is part of the game. We will communicate with you, usually by email, if we are grounded, so we appreciate any changes you have as soon as you find out.
